A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT CIGAR SMOKING AT FIGHT NIGHT
As you may know, all restaurants and public spaces in hotels in the District of Columbia are now smoke-free. The regulations created, as a result of the law passed by the Council of the District of Columbia in 2006, provide limited ways for organizations to receive a waiver from the restrictions. The Hilton Washington recently received a waiver from the DC Department of Health under the provisions of the regulations to allow cigar smoking in the main ballroom. The waiver was granted in recognition of the longstanding, multi-year agreement that exists between Fight For Children and the Hilton Washington.
