A successful business owner and civic leader, Charles S. (Chuck) Kuhn, President of JK Moving Services, couples his passion for business with an equally strong passion for improving the lives of children in the Washington area.

I also am committed to being a good corporate citizen and giving back to the community whenever I can.” From his humble beginning at age 16 working out his parents’ home in Virginia, Kuhn built JK Moving Services into a true Washington, DC-area success story and one of the most respected enterprises in the nation’s moving and storage industry. Kuhn obtained his goal by employing the highest caliber personnel, rewarding them with the most aggressive pension plan in the industry, incorporating leading-edge technology, employing innovative and comprehensive training techniques, and offering a level of customer service unparalleled in the business.

Kuhn and JK Moving Services have earned numerous awards and honors, including the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year, Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Blue Diamond Quality First Award, Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative–State Honoree, Better Business Bureau National Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Performance Award, and the Ernst & Young Greater Washington Entrepreneur of the Year.

He served as the Chairman of Fight Night in 2007 and 2008, each year personally raising over $500,000.
